Terms & Conditions of Use
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wushu Precision platform (the "Platform"), including all related services for organising, managing, scoring, and displaying the results of sports competitions (the "Services"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and account registration
To use the Platform, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information, including a valid email address.
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected breach of your account.
- Be 18 years of age or older to hold a user account. Participants under 18 may take part through a shell profile created and supervised by a parent, legal guardian or authorised coach.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. User responsibilities and data submission
You agree that:
- All personal data, competition data, participant information, scores, results, or other content you input, upload, import, or otherwise submit ("User Data") is either your own or you have full and lawful authority to submit it.
- You will not upload or submit any data that infringes the rights of others, including privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or data protection rights.
- You will ensure that any personal data relating to third parties is collected and submitted in compliance with applicable law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where relevant.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and integrity of all User Data you provide.
4. Data protection and privacy
We process personal data in accordance with:
- The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR)
- The EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), where applicable
- The Data Protection Act 2018
- Any other relevant UK or EU data protection legislation

You understand that:
- Competition results, rankings, and related performance data may be publicly displayed or shared with other users, depending on the configuration of the competition.
- Personal data may be visible to competition organisers, participants, or spectators where necessary for the functioning of the competition.

You retain all rights granted to you under applicable data protection law, including:
- The right to access your personal data.
- The right to rectify inaccurate data.
- The right to request deletion (subject to legal or operational constraints).

5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, design, branding, and content (excluding User Data), are owned by or licensed to Wushu Precision.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely for its intended purpose.
7. Prohibited reverse engineering and copying
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the Platform, in whole or in part.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying structure, algorithms, or ideas of the Platform.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security, access controls, or technical restrictions.
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to extract data or functionality from the Platform.
- Access the Platform in any manner intended to replicate or compete with the Services.
Any unauthorised use of the Platform's software, architecture, or proprietary materials constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account and potential legal action.
8. User data licence
By submitting User Data, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Store, process, display, and use the data as necessary to provide the Services.
- Generate aggregated or anonymised data for analytics, reporting, or service improvement.
We will never sell your personal data.
9. Competition results and public display
You acknowledge that:
- Competition results, rankings, and performance metrics may be displayed publicly or shared with participants.
- Once results are published, they may remain visible even if you later delete your account, where retention is necessary for the integrity of competition records.
10. Organiser responsibilities
If you use the Platform to create or manage competitions ("Organiser"), you are solely responsible for ensuring that any competition, event, or activity you create, manage, or run through the Platform is safe, lawful, and compliant with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and governing-body standards. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Health and safety legislation.
- Venue and facility requirements.
- Safeguarding and child-protection laws.
- Insurance obligations.
- Martial-arts or sports-specific regulations.
- Emergency planning and risk-assessment duties.
You will not use the Platform to organise or promote any event that is unsafe, unlawful, or non-compliant with regulatory requirements. The Platform does not supervise, inspect, or certify competitions and is not responsible for your compliance with legal or safety requirements. 11. Service availability
We aim to provide continuous access to the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or modify the Platform for maintenance, improvements, or legal reasons.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform will not exceed the amount you have paid for the Services in the preceding 12 months (if any).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English and Welsh law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms.
- You misuse the Platform.
- We are required to do so by law.
You may delete your account at any time, subject to the retention rules described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will trigger a fresh consent request the next time you sign in.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
