1. Purpose of this notice

This notice explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared when entering or participating in sports competitions managed through the Wushu Precision Platform. It applies to:

• Athletes.
• Coaches and team staff.
• Team leaders or managers.
• Parents or legal guardians entering on behalf of a minor.
• Any individual submitting information on behalf of another person.

By completing a registration or submitting participant information, you confirm that you understand and agree to the terms set out in this notice.

2. Who is providing consent

You confirm that:

• If you are an adult participant (18+): you are providing your own consent.
• If you are a parent or legal guardian: you are providing consent on behalf of a participant under the age of 18.
• If you are a coach, team leader, or other representative: you have full and lawful authority to submit information on behalf of each participant and have obtained all necessary permissions and consents.

No individual may enter data about another person without proper authority.

3. Information collected

The following information may be collected and processed:

• Name, contact details, and date of birth.
• Team or club affiliation.
• Competition entries and participation details.
• Scores, rankings, and performance data.
• Any additional information required for competition administration.

Where the participant is under 18, only information necessary for safe and lawful participation will be collected.

4. How the information will be used

Personal information will be used for purposes that are reasonable, necessary, and directly related to the organisation and running of sports competitions, including:

• Registering participants.
• Creating competition schedules and structures.
• Recording, calculating, and publishing scores and results.
• Communicating essential competition information.
• Ensuring safety, eligibility, and rule compliance.
• Maintaining accurate historical competition records.

Information will not be used for unrelated or unlawful purposes.

5. Publication of results

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Competition results, rankings, and performance statistics may be displayed publicly or shared with other participants.
• This may include the participant's name, team, category, and performance outcomes.
• For participants under 18, only information necessary for competition integrity will be published.

If you have concerns about the visibility of a minor's information, you should contact the organiser before completing registration.

6. Authority to submit information

By submitting information, you confirm that:

• All data provided is accurate and lawful.
• You have the right to provide the information.
• If entering data on behalf of another person, you have obtained their explicit consent (or, for minors, the consent of a parent or legal guardian).
• You will not upload information about any individual without proper authority.

The Platform and organisers may request evidence of consent where appropriate.
